AIO Indicator — How to use Time Separators
I would like to explain in detail about Time Separators of my All In One Price Action Indicator (TradingView) & give an example of how I use it to trade.
The advantage of this separator is that it can be changed to whatever time zone you like. You know that some symbols’ time zone like cryptocurrency is not New York Time but New York Time is the most important session/timezone in the finance world so you might want your relating indicator/setting adapted to that session for better analysis.
ANCHOR TIME
Drawing a vertical line at a specific time in the setting. The default value is New York Time 08:30. Note that this line is only visible on a timeframe ≤ 1h. (I can change this but I believe that this indicator is used only in intraday trades)
Actually, I decided to add this to AIO Indicator after learning this idea from the ICT (The Inner Circle Trader). The idea is very simple, you draw a vertical line, you do not act/take any trade before that time, you will wait for how the price reacted/formed the structure/high/low before this timing, then you’re in. It’s suitable for scalping & intraday traders.
DAILY SEPARATOR
Why did I create this? Just because I hate using TradingView default session breaks. It distracts me a lot, it’s very hard to see or analyze when enabling session breaks or when switching between high/low time frames.
With this, it’s very easy for you to know which day is today. My favorite trading days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
The indicator has two options to show. You can choose to show just one or each of them
Daily Separator by Time Zone with the text from Mon, Tue,… Sunday
Daily Separator Vertical Line. You can choose to show separator lines using market time like TradingView Session breaks or using timezone
WEEKLY/MONTHLY/QUARTERLY SEPARATOR
Monday & Friday usually are important days for traders so with the weekly separator you can easily point out the current week/previous week’s range, how the price ran in that range, and what is that week’s close/high/low.
It is the same with the beginning & the end of the month or the quarter. Those are also important days that traders should pay attention to.
